Melissa Sandlin is an Operations Project Manager at Northrop Grumman Corporation in Baltimore. She is responsible for management of the manufacturing of test equipment for the company’s capital and program needs. Prior to the OPM role, Melissa was the Manager of Corporate Citizenship for the Mid-Atlantic at Northrop Grumman. In this role, Melissa managed over $2.7M in charitable contributions, several K-12 STEM outreach programs, employee volunteerism and non-profit partnerships within the region. Prior to Corporate Citizenship, Melissa worked for 10 years as a manufacturing and project engineer in 3 different industries.
Melissa earned her bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign and her master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology.
Melissa lives in Baltimore City with her husband, 2 young daughters, and 2 dogs.
